Choplick is an exciting lefty prospect with an excellent mid-90s fastball and solid slider who could become an invaluable relief option in fantasy baseball leagues. He should be kept on your roster in all dynasty formats for future consideration.
Choplick, acquired from Milwaukee Milkmen prior to this season, currently owns a 2.15 ERA in 20 innings with the Dogs and pitched in both Mexican Pacific Winter League for Sultanes de Monterrey and Aguilas de Mexicali before earning recognition as American Association Pitcher of Week for three outings.

Choplick’s fastball has been consistently in the mid-90s and his slider is an effective weapon against batters. Additionally, his athleticism allows him to leverage his height when facing batters.
Choplick has yet to allow a baserunner in three appearances this year and has struck out three batters, suggesting he could be headed toward major-league action this season. Choplick is on the Rangers radar screen; they want to see how he performs against more advanced hitters in Arizona Fall League play.
