American Idol’s Alexis Grace
Alexis Grace, American Idol’s eighth-season winner, has received both praises and criticism. Her small stature and distinctive singing voice earned her the nickname “dark horse” of the competition. She is the daughter of a Beale Street musician and is currently working on her first solo album. Whether you like her soulful voice or the jazz rendition of “Toxic,” she’ll surely make you happy.
The singer has performed at numerous concerts and performed alongside some of the most prominent names in the music industry. Alexis has performed in many jazz clubs and been a part of several community theaters since her appearance on American Idol. She has been a cultural ambassador of the Memphis Music Foundation. In addition to her musical career, Alexis grace has worked with the Memphis Grizzlies. She performs in Memphis where she was raised and has a home there.
