Bakall and his wife reside in Phoenix, Arizona and he has been practicing medical retina specialty for 18 years, providing treatment for diseases, injuries and trauma of the eye including glaucoma and cataracts. He welcomes new patients while accepting Medicare insurance as payment.

He earned his medical degree at Uppsala University Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and completed a PhD degree in Genetics and Pathology shortly thereafter.
