Since 2013 he has been practicing with Associated Retina Consultants where he heads their Inherited Retinal Disease and Visual Function Clinic; additionally he serves as clinical assistant professor/scientific mentor at University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.
Personal Life
Bakall and his wife reside in Phoenix, Arizona and he has been practicing medical retina specialty for 18 years, providing treatment for diseases, injuries and trauma of the eye including glaucoma and cataracts. He welcomes new patients while accepting Medicare insurance as payment.
He earned his medical degree at Uppsala University Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and completed a PhD degree in Genetics and Pathology shortly thereafter. Subsequently, his internship and residency training was carried out at University of Arizona before concluding a fellowship at University of Iowa in 2013.
