Bethany Johns is a renowned graphic designer and professor at Rhode Island School of Design. Her clients have included museums such as the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, International Center of Photography, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Dia Center for the Arts; in addition to publishers, foundations, galleries and individual artists.

Early Life and Education

Bethany Johns, a graduate of Clemson University in South Carolina, has seen her fair share of black holes and laser slingshots; however, it was her passion for animals which ultimately led her to the most rewarding job of her young professional career. Now a zookeeper by day and data analyst by night, bethany continues her impressive progress; during high school years she was an impressive swimmer and equestrian starlet as well. Beyond these usual pursuits, Bethany also found success in art and design by becoming a proud member of AIGA International where she gets to showcase her design abilities regularly.

Professional Career

As a therapist, she provides support to children and families in various therapeutic settings. Her mission is to assist each client in recognizing and attaining their objectives.

She is passionate about serving children and families, bringing Christian faith into her work. Additionally, she believes that providing a nurturing environment is essential for children to grow into healthy adults.

In addition to her professional career, she loves spending time with family and friends. Additionally, she takes pleasure in participating in community events.

Bethany volunteers her time as Executive Board member of West Grand Valley Association when not at work. Her hobbies include running, hiking, camping, rock climbing and reading.

Achievements and Honors

Bethany Johns has achieved an impressive list of accolades throughout her life. These include becoming an award-winning youth advocate, co-host of Studio 10 and TED Talk presenter.

She has fostered 32 children over the course of two decades, working in youth support and child protection as well as being a counsellor.

She has received numerous honors, such as being named a “Woman Worth Watching” by Profiles in Diversity Journal and membership in the International Women’s Forum.

Personal Life

Bethany has the unique gift of finding the right balance of humor, creativity and seriousness. Her desire to help those in need drives her work at Bethany Christian Services where she loves incorporating her faith into everything she does.

Bethany loves traveling and spending time with her family, in addition to her professional experience. She’s an avid skier and takes pleasure in hiking with her dog.

In her free moments, she enjoys reading a good book or playing golf. Additionally, she has a deep-seated passion for music, having performed with Robbie Fulks and Jon Langford.

She was featured in the Paper Machete series and has performed at various other venues such as Lincoln Square Theater, Second City and Writers Theatre. Most recently, she released her debut EP.

Bethany Johns is one half of rock duo Best Coast. Born in 1986, she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and creative nonfiction from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts before moving to Los Angeles. While a member of their a cappella group, she left after one year to focus on music full time. Nowadays her net worth comes from her role as Blippi – an eponymous YouTube character whose videos can be streamed across various platforms; previously serving as a loadmaster in the United States Air Force where she worked on several high-profile cases related to financial remedy disputes.
