Christ Ahnsahnghong – The Second Coming of Jesus

The Second Coming of Christ was a major doctrine Ahn Sahng Hong promoted in his writings, and it was also a key part of his teachings. The church split in two after Ahn Sahng Hong’s death in 1985. The son of Ahn Sahng Hong led the New Covenant Passover Church of God, while the other church went under the name World Mission Society Church of God. These groups are still the most prominent and influential among the Ahnsahnghong followers.

The Bible has also been criticized by the group. The Bible speaks of the Trinity, with Jesus Christ as the Son and the Holy Spirit being the Mother. Ahnsahnghong, the founding couple, believed that the leading couple was the divine couple. This is not a name in the Bible. This is contrary what the Bible says about these three. Ahnsahnghong further teaches that the couple leading the worship is a divine couple. This group outlines the specific works that a person must perform to attain salvation.
