After graduation, he was commissioned as an Army infantry officer and excelled at finishing near the top of his class. Subsequently assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, he proved a dedicated soldier while also remaining an outstanding son, husband, brother, father, and friend to all those he encountered.

Professional Career

Daniel Rouse was an Army officer, husband, and father devoted to our nation who took great pride in serving. Daniel loved traveling, family outings, trips to the Jersey Shore and sipping Jameson Irish Whiskey from time to time.

Rouse was recognized twice by Conference USA All-Defensive Team selection as a defensive end and was chosen by his teammates to serve as team captain each season with the Herd. He was a loving and selfless individual who deeply appreciated his family, which includes his wife, four children, eight grandchildren, as well as an older brother and sister along with numerous nieces and nephews. Additionally, he served Saint John Bosco Parish in Warminster as a deacon.
