Daniel Felix – A Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, and Friend
Early Life and Education
Daniel Felix was a born in Beckley and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. As well as running Slicks License Service in Charleston and working for Charleston Daily Mail and BJW Printers as a contract carrier – all while remaining a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Michigan Capitol Confidential published a story in April about Daniel Felix, a student from a working-class Detroit neighborhood who achieved top academic scores and acceptance letters from some of the country’s premier universities. Since then, numerous readers have reached out to Mackinac Center asking how Daniel is progressing at college.
In 2016 the Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science building officially opened for business. Its first four floors feature teaching and research labs for Mechanical & Materials Engineering as well as Electrical & Computer Engineering departments.
Dan Felix has been working as an over-the-road truck driver for 32 years, employed by several companies such as B.A. Railton and Sysco Foods. Additionally, he has participated in community activities by organizing picnics and parade events for Pistakee Highlands Village; additionally he is an active member of Loyal Order of Moose.
In 2014, he succumbed to cancer and lost the battle. A graduate of Escalon High School, he played football for the Outlaws while being actively involved with high school parades on Main Street. Furthermore, his passion was cars and attending garage sales while haggling over prices.
Dan is an esteemed trustee, providing invaluable experience in smoothing over turbulent estates and helping families prepare for what may occur during family trust breakdown. His expert guidance enables families to prepare themselves appropriately and avoid costly missteps that can arise during such proceedings.
Achievement and Honors
Felix has worked with numerous notable musicians over his long and distinguished career. He has performed with various Midwestern orchestras – such as Chicago Symphony and Sarajevo Philharmonic – premiering works by composers George Arasimowicz, Jacob Bancks, and Delvyn Case among others. Additionally he has given solo recitals across North America’s colleges and universities while recording for Pianoforte Foundation Fazioli Salon Series.
At the 2021-22 indoor season, he became the first Pitt athlete in program history to win back-to-back heptathlon crowns at an ACC Championships, breaking facility, meet, and school records while becoming first Team All-ACC recipient for this event.
Daniel is also active in his community and serves on various local boards. An avid outdoorsman, Daniel enjoys packrafting, backcountry ice-skating and hiking in Alaska.
Daniel Felix will be deeply missed by his daughter Justina; son Danny; brother Dominic Felix and sister Samphath as well as nieces and nephews Felicia Julian Minerva Wilson Sandra Mikaela as well as many family members and friends. Unfortunately he was predeceased by his parents Domingo and Maria Felix.

He ranks among Sweden’s wealthiest individuals. While he makes a substantial salary as CEO of Spotify, most of his fortune stems from owning shares in the company.
He is an immensely popular YouTuber; his commentary on video games with hilarious reactions has become virally viral and made him the world’s most subscribed channel.
Personal life – In 2016, he married Sofia Levander at Lake Como and included notable attendees such as Mark Zuckerberg and Bruno Mars. Since then, he has lived an extravagant lifestyle, owning multiple homes across the country as well as amassing an extensive car collection ranging from sleek sports cars to eco-friendly electric vehicles – an accomplishment accomplished solely through hard work.
