David is a member of Sterne Kessler’s Biotechnology & Chemical and Trial & Appellate Practice Groups, with an expertise in proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He provides clients with advice on pre-PTAB strategy, briefing and discovery during proceedings before the PTAB, as well as appeal or settlement options.

David Holman has earned a number of awards and recognition throughout his career. He served as Brigadier General before being named Chief of Staff for the South Dakota Air National Guard.

He has also achieved success as a writer, film producer and screenwriter. His credits include No Worries (1993) and Performance (1991), both award-winning feature films.

General Holman served in the military as a KC-135 co-pilot, standards/evaluations co-pilot, Squadron Commander and Support Group Commander. Additionally, he was involved with numerous projects like Combat Information Transport System (CITS) and other mission support tasks.

Dave Holman has spent most of his adult life working in the rock and roll business, yet has always felt an intense affinity for music. This drive ultimately led him to join Slaves as one half, and when their band was put on hiatus for a period, he decided to pursue making his first solo record.

His passion for gardening has also played an important role in his creative development. It’s something that helps him clear his head and get some peace and quiet, which can be heard on his debut album Monkey Brain.
