Early Life and Education
The early years of a child’s life are crucial to the development of their brain. The experiences and environments they have during this time can set them up for a lifetime of success or hinder their growth, if negative factors are present.
Children need active stimulation, support and nurture during this important time in their lives. These factors are what help them develop their social-emotional skills and prepare them for the challenges they will face in elementary school and adolescence.
A great many experts have contributed to the field of early childhood education. Some of them, like Erikson, helped shape our understanding of psychosocial development and how it plays a role in early childhood learning.
Professional Career
Dave Spehar has spent his entire professional life in the world of wealth management. He’s a financial advisor with Ubs Financial Services Inc and Thinkequity Partners LLC, and serves clients in Minnesota and Texas.

He scored a hat trick in his opening game of the tournament, then followed that with three more in a quarterfinal victory against Blaine. The Greyhounds had a deep team with future D-I players Steve Suihkonen and Matt Mathias, and a strong defense led by goalie Kyle Kolquist.
He was a two-time First Team All-State selection in high school, and was named the Minnesota High School Coaches Association’s Player of the Year. But he chose to stay in Duluth and attend UMD instead of making a career move to the NHL.
