Achievement and Honors
Yurgaitis excelled as Coordinator of MTSU Music Industry Program. Under his direction, the Bachelor of Music in music industry degree passed NASM review, leading to two new courses Foundations in Music Industry and Music Industry Seminar. For his contributions towards student success he received both College of Liberal Arts Faculty Student Success Award and Instructional Enhancement Grant awards from College of Liberal Arts Faculty Association.
Last year, Anthony Yurgaitis found himself engaged in a legal dispute over an 11-room White Plains home that he owned with George Malkemus and Anthony Yurgaitis – although, the Supreme Court of Westchester County decided on Friday that this legal dispute had been suspended without costs to either party beyond legal fees.

Malkemus and Yurgaitis purchased the Worthington Road mansion with Talley living there and paying rent each month, according to their lawsuit. He provided them with a $120,000 down payment, which they used when purchasing it for him – then transferred ownership when they repaid him in full, according to court papers.

The late Vogue artistic director had a net worth of $1.7 million. A prominent fashion figure, he worked alongside Anna Wintour as creative director of Vogue before passing away at White Plains Hospital in September 2021, leaving his estate to his children.
