Yurgaitis excelled as Coordinator of MTSU Music Industry Program. Under his direction, the Bachelor of Music in music industry degree passed NASM review, leading to two new courses Foundations in Music Industry and Music Industry Seminar. For his contributions towards student success he received both College of Liberal Arts Faculty Student Success Award and Instructional Enhancement Grant awards from College of Liberal Arts Faculty Association.
