Dylan Dreyer – TV Meteorologist and Anchor
Dylan Dreyer is a television meteorologist and anchor who works for NBC News. He anchors Today’s 3rd Hour, and can be seen frequently on shows like NBC Nightly News or The Weather Channel. He also contributes to the Today Show. Dylan is also a contributor to the Weather section of many news organizations.
Dreyer’s NBC contract covers him for $2 million per annum. He grew up in New Jersey and has three brothers. He attended Manalapan High School, then went on to Rutgers University to get his bachelor’s in meteorology. He has also reported from Hurricane Harvey in Texas, and the North American Polar Vortex.
Dreyer joined NBC News in September 2012. He has also appeared on MSNBC and Weekend Today as a weather anchor. He also worked at WHDH-TV in New England for seven years. He was named “Boston’s Best Meteorologist” in 2008 by the Improper Bostonian. Before joining NBC, Dreyer worked as a freelance meteorologist for several news organizations.
Dylan Dreyer has been a regular on NBC’s Weekend Today since 2012. While he’s leaving Weekend Today, he’ll continue hosting his third hour on the “Today” show during the week. He will also continue hosting his podcast, “Off The Rails,” which he hosts on Sirius XM.
