Early Life and Education

Early childhood education is an integral component of a child’s development. It gives them a strong foundation for future learning, behavior and health.

Children are exposed to a wide range of environments and experiences during this time, from their parents’ home to educational institutions. Whether positive or negative, those encounters will shape them for life.

High-quality early childhood education has been proven to have immense advantages for both students and society at large. It can help children become more successful learners, reduce the likelihood of repeating a grade, and ensure they graduate on time from high school. Furthermore, it helps them avoid criminal behavior and become productive citizens – which is why OECD and UNESCO consider early childhood education such an essential indicator of economic success.
