George Quassis – A Lifelong Lover
George Quassis was a beloved father, husband and friend who always took time to help those less fortunate. His kindness will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He was born on November 23, 1965 in Ramallah, Palestine to Fouad Hanna and Imili Fouad Quassis.
Early Life and Education
George F Quassis was an upbeat individual who lived life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his wife, children and extended family, as well as going for bike rides, walks or dancing in his free moments. Additionally, George displayed great generosity and compassion towards others – always wearing a smile on his face when helping those in need.
On July 4th, 2022 he passed away at the age of 56 and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Survived by his loving wife Manal G Quassis; three children: Fouad Q, Natalia and Mandra; visitation will take place Sunday July 10th from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM at Basilica of St Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church (18100 Merriman Rd, Livonia MI 48152 with a trisagion at 7:30PM); funeral service follows immediately on Monday July 11th from 10:00AM-11AM.

George F Quassis is an experienced professional with a diverse portfolio of work. He spent several years in retail before starting his own company in 2005 and has also been active in hospitality for many years. Married to Manal Quassis for 27 years, they have three children together – Fouad, Mandra and Natalia.
On July 4th, 2022 at the age of 56, George Quassis passed away. Survived by his wife Manal Quassis and their children, he is buried in Ramallah cemetery in Palestine. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The George Quassis Family Fund. On Sunday July 10th from 5 PM until 8 PM the family will be receiving visitors at Basilica St Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church in Livonia MI from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Throughout his illustrious and long career at General Dynamics, George demonstrated leadership and excellence that left an indelible mark on naval aviation as well as his peers and co-workers. But most importantly, George’s greatest joy in life came from his wife Manal and their three children: Fouad, Mandra and Natalia – their devotion and loyalty providing him with endless success throughout life.

Married to Manal Quassis for 27 years, he and Manal shared a special place in their hearts – they have three children together that testament to their devotion for one another that will never be forgotten by those who knew them.
