Jack Brock – A Man of Integrity, Respect, and Humor

Jack Brock was shot and killed while transporting a suspect to jail. A graduate from the University of Alabama, he had long been an enthusiastic Bama supporter.

He was also an outstanding tennis player, competing on Uvalde High School team against La Verne duo Joel Goode and Skyler Lindsey to claim third place at class 4A regional tournament tournament.

Early Life and Education

Jack Brock was known for his integrity, respect, and sense of humor. As a father, husband, coach, teacher, and mentor to many he leaves an enduring legacy through the Brock Racquet Center in Glendale Ohio.

The Racquet Center consists of tennis and pickle ball courts located within Glendale’s Summit Park. Thanks to Brock, many young people from Glendale – black and white alike – learned the sport.

Brock was known for championing others and hunting quail. A graduate of the University of Alabama, he supported their Roll Tide with great passion. He leaves behind his children Shannon Long and Lisa Hanlon along with long-time friend Sheila Horton as well as four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Professional Career

He has served on both public and private boards, and as an adjunct professor in several local universities. His practice specializes in complex civil litigation related to petrochemical and energy industries; including commercial partnership interests, contracts, fiduciary duties, environmental releases, construction disputes, employment matters as well as various employment matters.

At present, he lives with his wife Ali and their children Bunny and Bertie at Ali’s family farm near Wymondam in Norfolk. Since becoming part of East Anglian culture by aiding charities as an East Anglian celebrity and acting as dementia ambassador alongside Joe (his twin).

He leaves behind an adoring family, including three sisters and two brothers as well as his mother. Additionally, he was an amazing father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Achievement and Honors

Brock was honored with numerous accolades throughout his career. He was inducted into both the B’nai B’rith Brotherhood and Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans; further, he established an endowment scholarship at Southern University. Additionally, Brock served as baseball coach at Missouri Baptist University for four seasons and led them to multiple victories, including three straight winning seasons under his guidance.

Letters written by him show some paternal condescension towards Tecumseh; yet, he displays genuine respect for native peoples and their land. Furthermore, he had an unshakeable sense of integrity and never made promises that could not be kept. After his death he was knighted in London.

Personal Life

Jack Brock was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who treasured his family deeply. His daily goal was to be the best husband and father he could possibly be; setting an excellent example for his children, grandchildren and many friends while giving without expecting anything in return.

He brought tennis into diverse communities of Glendale, Ohio and Cincinnati during a time when segregation prevented blacks from playing at major tennis clubs. Additionally, he served as an influential mentor and life-changing coach to many young people.

Ali Stearn of Silfield near Wymondham in Norfolk has raised money for dementia charities by taking her dog Jack on visits to people’s homes. Jack has even featured in two of Ali Stearn’s picture books – including a charity visit to Jarrold department store!

Net Worth

Brock amassed an estimated fortune through professional rugby, but that wasn’t his only source of earnings. Additionally, he earned through fitness training services and brand endorsement deals as well as co-founding Homebody Live Fitness which provides fitness influencers with a platform to share content about health and wellness and monetize it through Homebody Live Fitness.

He owns two F45 training studios to supplement his income, and stars on Vanderpump Rules which has nine seasons and increased his net worth further.

He may or may not have an intimate partner; any rumors regarding this matter have not been confirmed by Jack himself. Jack is an avid supporter of Manchester United.
