Professional Career

John DiNapoli has a varied and impressive professional resume. He served as a special assistant district attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, a litigation associate at an international law firm, and a litigator aplenty. As a high powered lawyer, he has tried a number of cases to verdict. A well-rounded lawyer, he provides Employment & Labor: Employer legal services in New York, New York. His clients include many of the city’s top names in finance, technology, and healthcare.

In the legal community, he is an active member of the New York City Bar Association. As a partner of DiNapoli & Associates, LLP, he helps clients navigate the world of workplace law. With a wide range of services, he helps employers address the most complex issues.

Achievements and Honors

John DiNapoli was an esteemed member of the Holyoke Police Department when he was killed in 1999. He was known for his sense of humor, his easy-going personality, and his dedication to negotiation and individual rights. However, he was not only an outstanding police officer; he was also a compassionate person. During his life, he received many awards and honors. The CSEA (Consumer Service Employees Association) is an organization of New York State workers who are committed to improving the working conditions of state employees. For over 100 years, this group has worked to ensure that state employees are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness. Their annual Delegates Meeting is the opportunity for members to honor outstanding individuals in the organization. This year, four individuals and one community group were recognized.

Personal Life

John DiNapoli was a 22-year veteran of the Holyoke Police Department. He passed away on March 31, 2019. The department is mourning the loss of their friend. A memorial service will be held later this year.

DiNapoli was born on April 15, 1948 in Clifton, New York. After moving to the Jersey Shore in 1976, he worked as the general manager of the Twin Brook Golf Center in Neptune. In 2007, he ran for comptroller of the state. However, he was unsuccessful.

John DiNapoli was a great guy who was always willing to give people a break. He would drive back to the police station after a day of work to finish his shift. When he died, he left behind a wife and two children
