At their meeting today, Old Forge school directors will vote to appoint Erin Keating as their next superintendent. Keating, currently the chief of leadership development and school operations in Scranton, is expected to earn $117,000.

During his tenure, he earned a place among Sir Lawrence of Cambridge and is credited with helping the district surpass national graduation rates. A big believer in gamification as an incentive for students and staff, he also displayed his best man attire at numerous weddings and parties. Furthermore, his philanthropic tendencies saw him donate both time and resources to local charities of his choosing.
