John Schatz – A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(tm)

A veteran CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(tm), John Schatz is a Director of Financial Planning at Lincoln. He also serves on a number of committees that help our planners continue their education.

The appellants in this case alleged that Mr. Schatz handled JCI products containing asbestos while at work and then brought his asbestos-covered clothing home to wash. This exposed Mrs. Schatz to asbestos fibers while she was cleaning the clothes.

Early Life and Education

John grew up in Greenfield and Interlaken, MA. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Environmental Studies from Bucknell University. He then earned his master’s degree in Private School Leadership from Teachers’ College at Columbia University.

He then began teaching math and science at Beaver Country Day School, The Academy at Charlemont, and Four Rivers Public Charter School. He also served as Head of School at The Island School, a high school semester study abroad program.

He has a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential. He is also a passionate cyclist, runner, and outdoors person. Professional Career

A Democrat, john schatz became a United States senator in 2012. He was appointed to replace Daniel Inouye, who died of a brain tumor in 2012, by Hawaii’s then-governor, Neil Abercrombie.

His top priority in Washington is fighting climate change, but he also prioritizes local projects that reduce sprawl and keep people out of their cars. For example, he helped secure a $23 million earmark to help realign Honoapiilani Highway on West Maui before it floods due to sea level rise.

He is a seasoned bass player who has toured and recorded with Bela Fleck, Tim O’Brien, Nickel Creek, and The Claire Lynch Band. His solo recordings feature his flawless clawhammer banjo playing and original compositions. He is also the Musical Director for the acclaimed dance troupe Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble.

He also leads a large team of scientists who are studying computational biology, particularly at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL). He is a co-leader of the cancer genetics and genomics program at CSHL, where he holds an adjunct professorship in quantitative biology.

He has won several awards, including the prestigious American Cancer Society’s Medal of Honor for his efforts to promote cancer research and control. He is also a recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal for his service to the nation.

Personal Life

John Schatz was a dedicated, hardworking man who was deeply committed to his family and church. He enjoyed family gatherings, card games, pool parties and New Year’s Eve celebrations.

During his life he served in the Army, was a farmer and operated a successful Imperial Oil franchise. In retirement he enjoyed curling, card games and spending time with his family.

He also had a number of other noteworthy contributions to the community including founding (and chairing) the island school of Hawaii, serving as chairman of the Democratic Party of Hawaii and running for lieutenant governor of Hawaii. He will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and colleagues. The most important thing to know is that he was a good man. The best way to remember him is by paying it forward.
