Juice WRLD Performs at the VMAs 2020
Juice WRLD may have passed away in January but his legacy lives on through his music. While the man did not make it to the big time, his creative mashups with Marshmello, Diddy and his erstwhile labelmates are a sight to behold. His heyday was a time when the VMAs were a rite of passage for many an aspiring pop star. The likes of Beyonce and Nicki Minaj would swaggle their way to the red carpet in the name of art, fashion and love. In the spirit of full disclosure, it would be remiss not to mention the fact that Juice WRLD was a highly gifted and talented youngster.
The likes of Nicki Minaj and Beyonce swooped up most of the VMA’s major awards, but a host of neophytes and old pros turned up for the night. The likes of Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar and Drake made the rounds as well, but there was one performer who stood out from the pack. Indeed, it was not a bad time to be the envy of the crowd, not to mention the tuxedo wearing gents. After all, who doesn’t want to be the hottest ticket in town?
Juice WRLD may have been a cult favorite but it was a tough act to follow. The dude’s name is a mouthful and his untimely demise was a sad state of affairs. However, his memory is a precious one and it is nice to know that he lives on in our hearts. Moreover, a new album is on the way, courtesy of Sony, and a tour is on the horizon.
