Metallica and Lady Gaga Make a Fashion Statement at the 59th Grammy Awards

Throughout her career, Lady Gaga has delivered some of the most memorable performances at the Grammys. She’s also made a lot of fashion statements that go beyond just looking good. Whether she’s worn Hussein Chalayan latex eggs or Jim Henson costumes, Lady Gaga has never hid her tastes when it comes to clothing. This year, she went all out with a glam rock look for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

Before this year’s awards ceremony, Metallica and Lady Gaga performed a song together for the first time. While they had some trouble with their microphone during their performance, it was a memorable moment nonetheless. They continued to rock hard through the rest of the show. In the end, Metallica lost to David Bowie for Best Rock Song with their “Blackstar” track. However, they were praised for their dedication and creativity.

It’s not uncommon for Lady Gaga to perform with metal acts, from Iron Maiden to Judas Priest. The singer has also worked with vocal coach Don Lawrence to help her develop her singing skills. Her last album, Joanne, reached Number Two on the Billboard 200 chart. Interestingly, she was not nominated for a Grammy this year.

At the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, Metallica and Lady Gaga will perform a song together. It’s expected to be one of the most talked about performances of the night. On Tuesday, the Recording Academy announced the pairing, and they’ll perform a one-time-only set.

Lady Gaga is a self-proclaimed metal lover, and she’s not afraid to make an artistic statement when it comes to her wardrobe. She recently showed off a new moth tattoo on her back. Though the design isn’t officially confirmed, it is likely a permanent tattoo.

Metallica and Lady Gaga are performing a “Moth Into Flame” medley during the Grammys prize-giving ceremony on Sunday. But despite the difficulties, the duo still performed their duet, even sharing the mic with James Hetfield. Even though they weren’t able to hear each other very well, they kept it up.

After their performance, the duo posed for a photograph. Despite the mishap, Metallica commended Gaga for her creativity. According to Metallica, she was a pleasure to work with, and he even said he was embarrassed.

The singer, who was introduced by Laverne Cox, is a major fan of Metallica. As a younger singer, she sang the band’s “You’ve Got a Friend” onstage at MusiCares Person of the Year gala in 2014. She’s also performed with Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. Previously, she was in a cover band for Led Zeppelin when she was an up-and-coming singer.

Metallica’s James Hetfield says that he and Lady Gaga worked well together. And the pair’s performance is a sign that the two have a great friendship. Not to mention, it’s an exciting opportunity for them to be performing together for the first time.

In addition to her upcoming world tour, Lady Gaga is also making an appearance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. The superstar will perform with her band, and she’s also announced her role as a guest judge on the Grammys’ “Best New Artist” show. During the telecast, she’ll also join Bruno Mars and Beyonce.
