Early Life and Education
Lindsay Arnold was born January 11 in Provo, Utah to a middle class family of six members and is the eldest daughter. She learned dancing from her mother at her dance academy before participating in various dance competitions which helped build up her confidence.
She auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance 9 and placed as one of twenty finalists with Cole Horibe, her martial arts fusion partner. On its 25th season she returned and won with Jordan Fisher as her celebrity partner.
In 2016, she won her inaugural Mirrorball trophy and has since expanded her endeavors into choreographing stage shows, music videos and dance lessons as well as being sought-after dance instructors. Married to Samuel Cusick (her high school sweetheart), they have one daughter together named Sage Jill Cusick who she is actively supporting her philanthropically through supporting childhood cancer research, mental health awareness campaigns as well as arts promotion in schools.
