Lucas was born into slavery into a large family that included slaves. Over time he became well-known for his remarkable memory and ability to recall facts and figures; publishing several books on memory enhancement.

Lucas excelled as a basketball player, winning championships at all three levels: high school, college and Olympic. Professionally for Cincinnati Royals and New York Knicks of the NBA he was known as an intimidating opponent with an accurate one-handed push shot and varied offensive repertoire.

Lucas has an avid passion for music, which led him to form Ghetto Funk Collective to promote it globally through mixes, videos and events. Lucas is also part of The Wassaic Artist Residency program and his artwork has been displayed at venues including Oakland Museum of California’s Anglim Gilbert Gallery as well as San Francisco Arts Commission Galleries and Headlands Center for the Arts.

Lucas has had multiple girlfriends over his long dating history but never tied the knot. Among these were Debby Rayn, Kayslee Collins and other high-profile ladies in America.

He began acting when he was 10 and appeared in television and print commercials, before making his film debut with “The Lovesong of Edward J. Robble”, in 2003 as Michael.

In season 3, Mona forced him into working for her by blackmail, forcing him to give Emily a massage in Touched by an Angel.

He has also worked as a model, appearing in several fashion shows and magazines. Additionally, his paintings have been displayed at galleries such as Oakland Museum of California, Anglim Gilbert Gallery and Headlands Center for the Arts.
