Maliyah LaVaughn Daniel was an independent young woman whose smile brought light into any room. She loved spending time with family and spontaneous road trips. Maliyah LaVaughn Daniel is survived by her mother Harmony Clayson, father Titus Daniel and sister Shanonna Bridges.

On Friday night at Motel 6 on Airport Hotels Boulevard in Louisville, a 23-year-old female was fatally shot and is being investigated by Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).

She was a caring daughter and mother who took great joy in taking care of her family; all who knew her will miss her dearly; Maliyah leaves behind one son: Leland Daniel; mother Harmony Clayson and father Titus Daniel who she leaves behind as survivors.
