Aubrey McLaughlin Script the Offer

Having just graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film Studies, Aubrey McLaughlin is a freelancing technician living in New York City. She is registered with Central Casting and is pursuing her acting career in the city. Here are some of the projects that Aubrey has recently worked on and a little about her background.

Aubrey worked as an assistant director for Lumped Together, a film starring Jessica Toltzis and Max Lopez. The film was shot over two days in Los Angeles. It was filmed using a COVID-free bubble. The film is about a Couples Therapist who uses patients’ issues as an excuse to move in. It is a very interesting concept and has been very well received. It is a project that Aubrey is very excited to see the finished product of in October.

Aubrey has also worked as an extra in New York City. She has helped load out theaters and rehearsal rooms for a number of productions. She has also been part of the pre-production cast for a number of plays. She has attended several UCB shows around the city. She has also attended several film premieres. She is working on a number of untitled works in progress.

Aubrey recently attended the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. She also attended talks by Ethan Hawke, Kay Cannon, Darren Aronofsky, and Barry Jenkins. She also appeared in a screenplay reading, played Heather, and acted as a spokesperson for Austin Sports Medicine. She also attended a screening of John Krasinksi’s A Quiet Place.

Aubrey also worked on a number of projects for the Fiasco Theater Company, which is a company that specializes in the Shakespeare Conservatory Program. They have hosted several plays and workshops, and have been a very inspiring organization for many actors. They have also hosted a tribute to Stephen Sondheim.

Aubrey has also worked with several NYU Tisch alumni. She has played the role of Viola in Twelfth Night or What You Will, which was produced by the Brick Shakespeare in the Theater festival. She also worked on a new play by Jenny Schwartz entitled Krazytown. Aubrey also participated in a week long staging workshop for Milo Cramer’s play entitled Cute Activist. She has also worked on a number of untitled plays in progress. She has also worked on a number plays by William Shakespeare, including The Tempest. She has also appeared in Happy, Power Book II: Ghost, and The B52’s Thing. She has also worked on The Reckoning. She has appeared on the UCB show “Stockton.”

Aubrey was also part of the first draft reading of Gabriel Elizabeth Kadian’s new musical called Anahid. She has been writing the play for several years, and she is very excited to see it come to life. She is also very grateful to the production team for working on this project.

Aubrey also attended a week long directing fellowship at Clubbed Thumb, a directing group that is based in New York. She worked with director Ken Rus Schmoll.
