Strathclair, Manitoba — Even on an icy night like tonight in Strathclair, Winnipeg Ice Center Conor Geekie is out skating to his heart’s content.
Geekie is one of three Geekie brothers with NHL aspirations. Morgan Geekie currently plays for Seattle Kraken while their father Craig played Tier II hockey with Brandon Wheat Kings and Spokane Chiefs.
Early Life and Education
Morgan Geekie hails from a family with a strong athletic heritage. His father, Craig, provided baseball and hockey coaching for all three of his kids as well as helping organize youth league teams; sports were an integral part of life; never missing a game!
Conor is an exceptional ice hockey player for the Winnipeg Ice of the Western Hockey League, while middle brother Noah opted for baseball after being chosen as a second-round selection by Calgary Hitmen during 2015 WHL bantam draft. Now with Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Academy for his Grade 12 year.
He hopes that will help him fulfill his ambition of playing in the NHL, though he knows there will be challenges along his journey. But he remains determined and passionate in his goal.

Noah made his mark in baseball and is currently playing at Emporia State University, leading their Cougars team in average, hits (74), doubles and triples in his freshman season.
After making two appearances on the mound this season, he focused most of his efforts in outfield play this year. Hoping for additional innings this summer with Okotoks Dawgs. A physical education major at university, his wife Emma played hockey at Regina.

Net Worth
2022 NHL draft prospect Josh Rettke is an excellent goaltending prospect with an excellent shot that projects to the next level. Furthermore, his hands are exceptional for someone of his size allowing him to dangle around defenders while using his passing ability to create opportunities.
Geekie was born in Strathclair, Manitoba and began his preparation at five. One of his inspirations for choosing American hockey as his profession is his father Craig who played professionally before retiring.
Geekie signed his agreement with Virden Oil Capitals in September 2020. A committed individual, Geekie frequently posts beautiful moments from his relationship on social media with girlfriend. They met while attending University of Strathclair and are regularly seen together – their bond continues to blossom despite distance. Now planning to take it further with each passing day!
