Hoover High School Freshman Noah Schuback Wants to Go to Ole Miss
Professional Career
As a freshman, Noah Schuback has garnered considerable interest from colleges. He has visited Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss – particularly Ole Miss under coach Lane Kiffin – where he has made visits. Schuback credits co-offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. with helping Hoover advance to the quarterfinals of Class 7A playoffs with an impressive 45-19 win against Bob Jones where he completed 16 of 21 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns.
Achievement and Honors
Academic honors don’t always come in the form of plaques and medallions, yet still deserve to be included on your application for college admission. Your guidance counselor can assist in recognizing them accurately – for instance if you made the honor roll each year or were one of the top 10% or 5% in your graduating class, list that as well. Nonacademic achievements such as athletic events or community service should also be listed under Activities section of your application.
“Graduation with Honors”, also known as Summa Cum Laude, is an academic accolade awarded based on your graduating grade-point average and listed on your transcript (link is external) and diploma. To receive it, an Honors Convocation must also take place the following Fall at your primary college.
