She currently serves as Assistant Superintendent of Organizational Development for North Kansas City 74 School District and oversees leadership development and communications within the district as well as spearheading development of North Kansas City School’s five-year strategic plan.

Arizona native Daniels began her culinary career at Zinc Bistro. Although short in stature compared to her colleagues, Daniels quickly distinguished herself through her talent and adaptability in the kitchen. Later she gained experience at Painted Horse Cafe and Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North.

Achievement and Honors

Daniels made several New York theater productions a hit, such as Circle Repertory Company’s Redwood Curtain and Lanford Wilson’s Fifth of July; for each he received both an Obie Award nomination and the Drama Desk nomination. Daniels even appeared off-Broadway in David Harrower’s Blackbird production!

Daniels became widely-recognized as fictional news anchor Will McAvoy on Aaron Sorkin’s HBO series The Newsroom from 2012-2014, earning both Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his performance.

Daniels earned himself another nomination for a Tony Award with his performance as God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza and was cast as John O’Neill in Hulu miniseries The Looming Tower. Additionally, Daniels provided narration for History Channel documentary series on George Washington titled Washington (2020). Additionally, Daniels serves as executive director of Chelsea-based Purple Rose Theatre Company.

Personal Life

Rochel Daniels and Bartlett have been happily married for 25 years and share two beautiful children together. Both believe strongly in family values as an essential aspect of community life; as such they organized concerts as relief efforts following natural disasters like Hurricane Harvey in Houston, TX.

She currently serves as Assistant Superintendent for Organizational Development of North Kansas City Schools district. For over 24 years she has been actively engaged with school system. Among other roles, she worked as teacher and public-school advocate. Furthermore, she enjoys traveling extensively – she has visited multiple countries so far. And finally, she loves reading and writing about human condition.
