Sharon Oliver, wife and mother, lives in Flintville, Tennessee and is a member of both the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. Additionally, Sharon regularly presents at national, regional and state conferences as a presenter to stay current within the financial aid community.
She has an interest in aviation as well as being a pilot herself; in 1970, she co-piloted a Piper Comanche aircraft to win the Powder Puff Derby competition.
