Steven Cantrell is an ophthalmologist in Visalia, CA affiliated with Kaweah Health Medical Center and received his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine.

His career spanned more than three decades, including various shore assignments and two joint duty appointments. His primary responsibility in the military was providing oversight of intelligence-related activities to ensure they met federal law, executive orders, DoD directives and regulations.
He graduated from both the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Academy, Class 45 and National Defense University’s Keystone Command Senior Enlisted Leader Course. Additionally, he successfully completed Squadron Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.
Professional Career
Cantrell has distinguished himself in his service with numerous awards and achievements. He led various ships and assignments ashore for the Coast Guard, such as Ridley and Point Wells cutters. Furthermore, Cantrell served as Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commandant of the Coast Guard where he advised on workforce policies as well as advocated for military benefits and entitlements for his enlisted workforce members.
He has held various leadership roles, such as serving as director of athletics at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and now acting as president for Sage Technologies Ltd in Warminster.

Stephen was known for his unrelenting work ethic and believed that anything could be achieved with hard work. Personal Life
Steven Cantrell was an accomplished electronics troubleshooter, working for over ten years at Hanford Engineering Development Lab HEDL, Westinghouse Hanford Co WHC and Fast Flux Test Facility FFTF respectively. While at these companies he earned promotion to engineer.
Cantrell was also an accomplished basketball player at Broken Arrow High School, averaging nine points and four rebounds per game as a senior before leading his Tigers into the state tournament his final year. Cantrell received offers of recruitment from Drury University (Mo.), Harding University (Ark.), Newman University of Kansas and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
In 2022, he was arrested in relation to an illegal methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy and sentenced along with Amanda Skeens and Josh Goodman to 10 years of incarceration.
