Taralee grew up in Santa Barbara with her mother Kim. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Taralee attended medical school at University of Washington – there she met Christen who would later become her husband – where they welcomed their first son Pierce in 2010.

Christen graduated from Shawnee High School and Stockton College respectively – Christen was known to be both self-critical yet accepting of others despite this tendency toward quietness. Taralee graduated Shawnee High School while Christen went on to graduate both schools.

Tom lived most of his life in Tabernacle and enjoyed coaching children’s sports teams. Additionally, he was an avid traveler and often spent time at the beach with his family.
