Hannah Emerson Duston (sometimes Duston or Durston ) was an American colonial heroine who managed to escape capture by Native Americans and return home with two captives after clubbing and scalping 10 of her captors as proof. Once home she continued her mission until finally making it back to Haverhill.
Early Life and Education
