Tim is one of the founding members of the US conscious business movement and recently published the “Conscious Capitalism Field Guide”. Additionally, he currently runs his own leadership consultancy BRIDGE in London.
He coaches and catalyzes leaders and their top teams to foster organisational purpose, accelerate the journey toward becoming conscious enterprises, and encourage creativity as an approach to business strategy.
Early Life and Education
Tim Henry was raised in Southern Illinois in a home situated next to dense forest. From this experience he gained an appreciation of nature and outdoor living.
He attended some art classes in school, but mostly self-taught himself with trial and error. Drawing inspiration from nature and ocean life, and surfing as his form of expression.
Since leaving government service in 2001, Henry Consulting Group specializes in personnel services, healthcare management and marketing/advertising/communication.
He holds a five-star rating on Healthgrades and is highly acclaimed by patients. He takes an integrative approach to treating his patients holistically and offers mindfulness and meditation techniques as part of their care, believing these practices can help them live healthier lives.
Tim Henry was an energetic advocate for his clients, dedicating himself to helping them organize their affairs and protect themselves and their loved ones from unplanned circumstances. With extensive experience handling estate planning, revocable living trusts and advanced health care directives he had earned a place among Wealth Counsel’s elite membership in providing exceptional service to his clients.
He began college on a vocal and theater scholarship, while keeping an open mind to explore different interests. Over time he gravitated toward science with specializations in biology and communications before going on to obtain his Juris Doctorate at Santa Clara University School of Law.
Dr. Henry serves as Lindner Family Distinguished Chair in Clinical Research and Medical Director for Carl and Edyth Lindner Center for Research. A master fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, he has published over 350 manuscripts and book chapters.
Achievement and Honors
Henman enjoyed an exceptional career as a professional tennis player, reaching six Wimbledon semifinals and winning fifteen ATP Tour titles during his remarkable tenure. Considered one of the greatest players ever seen on court, Henman currently ranks fifth on British tennis players’ most-successful player lists.
Henman currently holds the Lindner Family Distinguished Chair in Clinical Research and is medical director for Carl and Edyth Lindner Center for Research. Additionally, he is a master fellow with Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions as well as co-authoring over 300 manuscripts and book chapters.
Henman began his college journey on a vocal and theater scholarship before transitioning into what he now refers to as an “electives major.” His advice to students: “Procrastinate tomorrow!” is indicative of his dedication to education.
Magdalen College, Oxford University for PPE studies and University of Southern California all awarded him degrees. Furthermore, he joined the Society for Cardiovascular Angioplasty and Interventions.
Tim and Sharon are committed philanthropists. Both received honorary doctorates from DePauw University in 2012. Additionally, both have served on the national board for Posse Foundation which offers scholarships for inner city youths to attend college.
He spends his leisure time playing music and hiking with his family. Additionally, he loves traveling between Boston and London where he works as an international management consultant for top companies helping them meet their goals through strategy development and implementation services.
Tim is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and member of ICSC. As part of the Retail Advisory Services Group in Chicago’s office, he assists Real Estate Owners and Branded Manufacturers with site selection, dispositions, lease negotiation and build-to-suit negotiation throughout the Midwest region.
Henry voiced one of the characters in the video game Turok and early in his career acted in several off-Broadway productions and small film roles.
He previously held the positions of Corporate Counsel and senior member of Rimon LLP’s management team, where he developed and expanded their private law practice as well as their alternative legal service provider business. Involved with all legal, business, operational matters for Rimon as well as overseeing its team. Also advised on strategic, growth, technology and M&A matters for Rimon.
