Jeanine’s mother, Esther, died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 90. She had been an avid gardener and volunteer at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, New York. She was named the Pink Lady at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She received a first place award in the Elmira Garden Tour at the age of 88.
